The Home Asset Management Plan (HAMP) is designed to assist customers with all types of small projects around your home or office. Our HAMP program takes the problems out of maintaining your home or office by providing reliable and trustworthy service.
Our HAMP service technicians have established a reputation for being punctual, considerate, conscientious and versatile craftsmen. Jimenez Construction’s outstanding relations with prior clients, and our excellent relationships with architects, supply houses, and subcontractors attest to the stability and integrity of our company. Our goal is for our relationship with clients to continue after each job ends.
Jimenez Construction’s Home Maintenance Service Plan
Jimenez Construction has set up a Home Maintenance Service Plan and continued maintenance program to achieve better service for our clients. Our Home Maintenance Service Plan will change the way you view the task of maintaining your home. The Plan is simple; maintain your home or building and thus one of your most important investments.
Our first goal in developing a plan with each property owner is to create an individualized service plan to maintain their home or building. The service plan is created based on careful consideration of some of the following:
- An initial inspection of the house/building to determine maintenance items and schedules for completion.
- Quarterly inspections of (but not limited to) smoke alarms, furnace flues, appliance hook-up lines and hoses, water leaks and clogs, screens, gutters, caulking/weatherproofing, insulation, paint peeling, etc.
- Yearly inspection and cleaning of fireplace and chimney.
- If desired, a yearly review of energy and water usage with recommendations for reducing cost and improving comfort.

- Doors, Windows, Heaters/Air conditioning replacement. By selecting high-performance doors and windows, installing more efficient heating and/or air conditioning equipment, setting up for more natural ventilation, and choosing more efficient replacement light fixtures your work and living spaces will be more comfortable and efficient.
- Water Heaters, sprinkler systems, washer/dryers, dish washer and refrigerator replacement. By harnessing the sun’s energy, eliminating unnecessary water use, and using quality materials, you can realize reduced water bills, lower energy bills.
- Remodeling or new additions. Jimenez Construction can help you plan from the beginning of your project by setting up a team approach (owner, architect, engineer, contractor, interior designer, landscape architect, etc.), which often reduce the cost.
Home Maintenance Services Offered
Jimenez Construction offers a full spectrum of Home Maintenance Services. Every maintenance agreement starts with the following:
- Complete initial assessment of property for maintenance issues.
- A brief written analysis of every item inspected.
After the initial assessment, Jimenez Construction will work with you to establish a tailored plan for your home, which may include any or all of the following services (others may be added):
- Inspect hot water heaters, clothes washers, clothes dryers, dishwashers and refrigerators for hose and vent line hook-up leaks.
- Plumbing – inspect/repair leaks and/or clogs in faucets, angle stops and accessible pipes.
- Install/Inspect and test smoke and fire alarms – replace batteries (Option to switch standard smoke alarms to those with Carbon Monoxide monitoring capability).
- Recharge/exchange fire extinguishers.
- Inspect and replace heating, air conditioning and/or furnace filters as necessary.
- Inspect general interior and exterior condition for visible evidence of paint peeling or chipping, wood rot or splintering, general decay, water damage, and possible insect infestation or fungus.
- Inspect windows and screens, repair as necessary.
- Clean gutters and downspouts (twice a year).
- Inspect for visible evidence of loose or cracked caulking around tiles, sinks, tubs, showers, toilets, and counters.
- Inspect for visible evidence of sub-floor rot or damage around tubs, toilets and showers.
- Inspect decks and reset any protruding nails or screws, apply protective coating if needed.
- Clean and lubricate sliding-glass-door tracks and window tracks, lube door hinges, locks and garage doors.
- Inspect driveway and other concrete or asphalt for cracks or re-sealing.
- Inspect weather-stripping around doors and replace as needed.
- Check wood doors for expansion/shifting.
- One time service: Inspect insulation elements for air infiltration.
- Assess daylighting options and determine energy saving alternatives.
- Assess artificial lighting needs and determine energy saving alternatives.
- Assess water usage and determine energy saving alternatives.
- Check cooling and heating equipment and determine most efficient settings and/or cost saving alternatives.
